the past born into a small family of three, song qian came into the world on a cold night in february. her childhood was normal; no major changes up until her father's company wanted to relocate him to seoul. unwilling to separate himself from his family, he took his wife and daughter, the three of them all learning to adjust to the different ways of life. the language barrier was the hardest part for qian, causing her parents to enroll her in a korean language program. through the years, between school and living everyday life, qian, also now called victoria by some of her korean friends, found korean to no longer be that difficult. after she finished high school, qian held off on taking the college entrance exam, deciding to go back to china with her parents as her father was able to take a position back home. when she got back, everything seemed different. she no longer felt as if she belonged there. going into the workforce as a receptionist for a social worker, qian realized that she enjoyed helping others. researching the potential career brought her to the yonsei university website and with her parents' blessing, she took the exam and was accepted.

the present deciding to become a part of sigma kappa was a whim choice. accidentally bumping into a girl on her way to class, a few words were exchanged after the apologies and as she sat down, she spent the first part of that class reading over the flyer. sigma kappa seemed to have it all. wanting that sense of belonging, qian signed up for rush. while she was sure that she wanted to become a part of sigma kappa, qian visited the other three sororities during the rush season. bid day was a stressful time up until a group of girls showed and surprised qian with a bid. some of her closest friends were the ones she met that year. between helping her with her coursework, along with making sure she stayed involved with the sorority, this was the first time that qian finally felt at home in korea. even with the rumors and negativity that came with greek life, she learned that sigma kappa was all of the good and only a little of the bad. in her junior year, she was chosen to be the vice president of recruitment and recently, she was promoted to the president of the yonsei university chapter.

the future everything seems bright for qian. one year left for her bachelor's degree and she's ready to pursue her next adventure. between working part-time at the fitness center, she has plans for the upcoming school year with the sorority. the previous president left a lot for her to fix, one of her biggest goals being to thwart the rumors going around, but she couldn't be happier being the president in her last year of undergrad at yonsei.

the lady song qian is a natural born leader. loving to make those around her happy, her youthful approach to life is something that people around her enjoy. not all sunshine and happiness, sometimes qian can be difficult to read, despite appearing to be kind and innocent. often, she has trouble expressing herself when it comes to her emotions, but she doesn't allow this to get her down. seeing the big picture can be difficult for her as well, especially when it deals with the constantly changing future. it's because qian enjoys living in the present, her decision making skills reflect this too. however, she maintains a mature mindset and easily makes compromises by taking into account the opinions and suggestions of those around her.
